Communication Assistant (m/f)

As a marketing & communication assistant, your main objective is to promote the activities of the entire SECO group and its subsidiaries, as well externally as internally.

Being based in Luxembourg, you will work with the COO of the group and ensure that the daily business runs as planned.

Your tasks

  • Manage communication plans to increase brand awareness and recognition for the organization (press releases, social media, company website)
  • Develop and deliver creative marketing and communication strategies, plans and approaches
  • Collaborate and work closely with the Business Development team
  • Communicate SECO brand to internal and external customers and stakeholders by attending trade shows, company events, etc.
  • Carry out administrative duties to ensure successful operation of the company

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication or similar
  • 3 years’ experience in the marketing & communication field
  • Fluent in French and English, Dutch being considered an advantage
  • Previous experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest)
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere)
  • Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and social skills

Preferred skills and abilities

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Understand the basics of business and marketing concepts
  • Ability to spot emerging trends
  • Experience with digital photography and video editing is considered an advantage
  • Knowledge of German and / or Luxembourgish
